I replaced all 6 of my injectors in 2004... had one die in 2005, another die in 2006, another die in 2007, another in 2008, and one in 2009 before getting rid of the car. So in my experience, one of them did last only a year... and only one of them lasted more than 5 years. But even if you get 6 years out of a set of injectors, it would've still made more sense to upgrade to the newer style (which lasts, what, more than twice as long in general?) right off the bat. It's only a few hundred more, now that 300Degree rails are available, and it saves SO much hassle.
